| Golden Chefs Lunch |
The Golden Chefs Lunch started with a group of guys in their "golden" years getting together for lunch every week to swap stories, razz each other and basically enjoy good food and camaraderie.
Over the years, the group has dwindled in numbers and the torch has been passed on to daughters, sons, grandchildren and the like. The group is looking for more patrons to participate in the weekly get together
and continue this long held tradition.

| Menu: | Meal is determined by the volunteer cooks. Sample meals include baked or fried chicken, meatloaf, the occasional steak etc. |
| Time: | 1:00pm - 1:30 pm lunch served
1:30pm onward is card playing, socializing etc |
| Cost: | $5.00 for lunch |
| Raffle: | $1.00 ticket earns you a chance to win one of three prizes $15, $10, $5
Raffle is optional. If there aren't enough proceeds, the prizes are each $5. |
| Potluck: | The last Wednesday in each month is a Potluck. Interested patrons can bring in something to share with the group and the $5.00 cost is waived. |
| Cooks: | The group needs volunteer cooks. The signup sheet is in the dining room. You can decide the menu and you will be reimbursed for food costs out of the proceeds of the lunch. Plan to cook for 25-35 people (currently). |
