Penny A Day

Over 25 years ago, PSP Floyd Spence developed the idea of "Penny a Day".
He asked each member to donate $3.65 per year to a fund which would grow and help finance the operation of the youth camp.
The principal would be invested and only the earnings would be used. Members pay with their dues, fund raisers are held, memorials are given, rings are sold and
of course, money is put in the piggy banks which are in every state lodge.
Is it working?-the current fund balance is over $1,600.000.00 and this year
the fund will provide $96,000.00 towards the operating costs of the Youth Camp. That is a lot of pennies. More than ever, we need to grow the balance
of the fund and putting a little change in the piggy bank is a great way to get the job done.
Remember over 45% of the camp budget will come from "penny-a day" Please fatten up the pigs-they eat dollars too.

The Pig Race is On!
In the month of April, we are holding a pig race to raise funds for the Youth Camp Penny A Day program. There are three pigs racing to be the one with the most donations:
- Wild Hog (Tim Wind)
- Boss Hog (Rich Kindseth)
- T-Bone Hog (Tom Wright)
The pigs have been decorated for the event and we want you to choose the winner! The winning pig gets bragging rights and the proverbial blue ribbon. We have a special prize for the pig with the least donations.
Check back here periodically and see how the race is progressing!
